Admission to the University
The College offers following courses of studies through residential and non-residential study programmes at Serampore and through affiliated colleges:

| 1. Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) | Pass in 10+2 or Matured candidacy exams |
| 2. Bachelor of Divinity (B.D.) | B.Th. or B.A. or its recognized equivalent or pass in Matured candidacy exams |
| 3. Master of Theology (M.Th.) | B.D. or B.C.S. in second class or its recognized equivalent |
| 4. Doctor of Theology (D.Th.) | M.Th. second class or its recognized equivalent |
| b. Non-residential/extension based degree and diplomas | Admission requirements |
| 5. Diploma in Christian Studies (Dip.C.S.) (For people of all faiths) | Pass in 10+2 or Matured candidacy exams |
| 6. Diploma in Clinical Pastoral Counseling (Dip.C.P.C.) | Pass in B.Th./B.D. degree or its recognized equivalent |
| 7. Bachelor of Christian Studies (B.C.S.) | B.Th. or B.A. or its recognized equivalent or pass in Matured candidacy exams |
| 8. Master of Ministry (M.Min.) | B.Th. or B.D. or its recognized equivalent with five years pastoral experience |
| 9. Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) | B.D. or B.C.S. in second class with five years ministerial experience |
