Qualifying Examination : B.Th Graduate under ATA System

  1. Eligibility
    1. BTh under ATA
    2. S.S.L.C. pass (class X standard) or its equivalent
  2. Examination
    Senate shall examine following Eight papers:
    402 Life and Ministry of the Prophets (in English)
    406 Life and Ministry of Jesus Christ (in English)
    414 Christian Faith Affirmations
    OR
    415 Issues in Indian Christian Theologies
    422 History of Christianity in India
    433 Modern Religious and Secular Movements and trends in the Indian sub-continent
    442 Foundations of Pastoral Ministry
    OR
    444 Pastoral Psychology, Care & Counselling
    72 English (Paper - I)
    73 English (Paper - II)
  3. Only four chances to pass the above mentioned papers.
  4. Medium of Examination: English (though the candidate later on can pursue his/her studies in Regional Language as per Senate rules)

Instruction to Candidates

  1. This form should be duly filled in and return to the Registrar, Senate of Serampore College, Serampore – 712 201, Hooghly, West Bengal, NOT LATER THAN 15TH OCTOBER together with the following enclosures:
    1. Examination Fee Rs. 250/- (per paper), Centre Fee Rs. 100/-, Marks Fee Rs. 250/-and Postage Fee Rs. 100/-
    2. Late Fee Rs. 200/- if submitted after 15th October and before 31st October
    3. Please choose any one of our affiliated Colleges as the centre of your examinations and arrange to send a letter of consent from the Principal of the College
    4. Two self-addressed envelopes (size 10” x 4½”)
  2. ALL FEES MUST BE SENT BY BANK DEMAND DRAFT DRAWN IN FAVOUR OF THE REGISTRAR, SENATE OF SERAMPORE COLLEGE.
  3. Drawee branch of the D.D. should be either SERAMPORE or KOLKATA
  4. The medium of the Senate Examination is English only
